Social Influence Manager

The Social Influence Manager will manage one or more account assignments on a day-to-day basis and serve as a primary client contact. The public relations function will complement other communication and marketing services provided by the agency. You will work closely with the creative, account, motion and media teams to execute a cohesive, consistent brand strategy.

 This is a full-time position located in Greenville, SC.


  • Have intimate knowledge of the client’s brand, products and brand experience.

  • Write/edit a variety of communication materials, including news releases, creative briefs, media pitches, fact sheets, executive bios, blogs, social media, editorials and other assignments.

  • Establish and maintain a positive relationship with relevant industry media on behalf of clients.

  • Stay up-to-date on breaking news and trending social themes to more effectively serve clients.

  • Assist in the development of social strategy and serve as the day-to-day voice on strategy adjustments and enhancements.

  • Serve as the single brand voice across each social platform.

  • Work with creative team to develop content for each social platform.

  • Answer customer inquiries and questions online as well as actively build an online community around clients’ target audience.

  • Evaluate and develop relationships with key influencers.

  • Report & analyze data for daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly evaluation and reporting.

  • Monitor client and competitor media coverage.


  • 2–4 years of agency experience (or similiar in-house client-side experience).

  • Proven work experience in social media and media relations.

  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including proficiency in AP Style.

  • Fast- and forward-thinker.

  • Ability to evaluate content and interpret data.

  • Ability to work irregular hours and manage communities outside of the office.

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications or related field.
